Refund policy

 

CANCELLATION The customer has the right to cancel an item before it is handed over or collected. Once the item has been handed over in accordance with the delivery terms, the customer's right of cancellation ends. Line Design & Beauty AB - (559212-8424) is entitled to withhold part of the payment to cover costs and reasonable losses arising from the customer's cancellation, until the cancellation request has been processed. For consumers who have entered into a distance contract, the right of withdrawal under the DISTANCE CONTRACT section below applies first, meaning the right to a full refund on return within 14 days, with any deduction for the item's diminished value. The standard compensation below for cancellation applies only to the extent that the right of withdrawal does not apply, for example for goods made to the consumer's specifications or otherwise given a clear personal character.

Cancellation of standard items For cancellation of standard items, standard compensation applies: within seven (7) days of the purchase date, Line Design & Beauty AB - (559212-8424) is entitled to ten (10) percent of the price. Within fourteen (14) days of the purchase date, fifteen (15) percent. Later than fourteen (14) days after the purchase date, thirty (30) percent of the price.

Line Design & Beauty AB - (559212-8424) reserves the right to additional compensation from the customer, beyond the standard compensation, for costs incurred and reasonable losses resulting from the customer's cancellation of a standard item.

Cancellation of made-to-order, campaign and special items For cancellation of made-to-order or special items, standard compensation applies: within 24 hours of the purchase date, the company is entitled to fifteen (15) percent of the price. Later than 24 hours for made-to-order or special items, the company is entitled to full compensation for costs incurred and reasonable losses resulting from the cancellation, arising because the company cannot sell the item without significant loss.

DISTANCE CONTRACT For distance purchases, the customer has the right, within fourteen (14) days from delivery according to the chosen delivery method, to exercise the right of withdrawal under the Act (2005:59) on distance contracts and contracts outside business premises.

When the right of withdrawal is exercised, the original delivery cost is refunded (corresponding to the cheapest standard option offered); only the additional cost of a more expensive delivery method chosen by the customer is not refunded. The right of withdrawal does not cover additional services such as assembly started at the customer's request, or other additional services completed by Line Design & Beauty AB - (559212-8424). The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made wholly or partly to the consumer's specifications or otherwise given a clear personal character. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must, within 14 days, give a clear and unambiguous statement to Line Design & Beauty AB - (559212-8424) of the decision to withdraw from the contract, e.g. via the email address stated on the order confirmation or receipt. It is not necessary to use any particular expression; it is enough that it is clear the customer wishes to withdraw. The customer is responsible for returning the item to Line Design & Beauty AB - (559212-8424)'s warehouse at Kaserngatan 5, 151 66 Almnäs, and for the return costs. Because the items, due to their size, normally cannot be returned by post, the return cost is estimated, depending on the item's size and the delivery address, at between SEK 495 and SEK 5,000. The customer may inspect the item in the same way as when shopping in a store. If the item is returned in essentially unchanged condition, a full refund is made. If the customer has handled the item to a greater extent than necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and function, Line Design & Beauty AB - (559212-8424) is entitled to compensation for the item's actual diminished value, assessed on the basis of the item's condition at return compared with at delivery. The customer is encouraged to return the item with the original packaging and accessories, and with a copy of the order confirmation affixed to each package, but the right of withdrawal applies even if the item has been used or damaged.

When the customer exercises the right of withdrawal, Line Design & Beauty AB - (559212-8424) is entitled to compensation for increased delivery costs resulting from the customer's choice of delivery method, and for the item's diminished value to the extent it is due to the consumer handling the item more than necessary to establish its characteristics or function. The company is entitled to compensation for services performed or started on the item and other additional services ordered by the customer.

For refunds, Line Design & Beauty AB - (559212-8424) uses the same means of payment the customer used. The refund is made without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date the company received the customer's notice of withdrawal. However, the company may withhold the refund until the item has been returned or the customer has shown that it has been sent back. The company is entitled to withhold part of the payment to cover costs arising in connection with the customer's exercise of the right of withdrawal. The right of withdrawal applies only to private individuals.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer may use the Swedish Consumer Agency's (Konsumentverket) standard withdrawal form.
